they should establish global cooling

I just walked my dog and suddenly it clicked in me to post an update to readers. No, it has got nothing to do with the prompts on the tagboard, implying that I have been lazy or given up on virtual logging.

So, it's like this. There's basically nothing else very important fer me to do online these days besides constantly checking fer school updates, the Bleach and Naruto mangas or Monster Hunter referencing. Been rather busy staying on the work side of computers, anyway, with assignment due dates around the corner. And it's not exactly helping when you have a group that's seven strong. I'm not gonna directly blame individual team members fer the lack of participation although there are souls who are oblivious to the fact that the majority dislikes the likes of them. Still, comparing with the rest of the class, I'd have to say that we're the only initiative with an initiative. At least, with different personalities, we can distribute thinking and leading roles subconsciously, providing an automated working system during discussion.

Urm... Fer those who didn't understand most of the lines phrased in the previous paragraph, I apologize. It must be from doing all those reports fer class. Typing skills are kicking in right about now. I'll try to refrain from sounding complicated. Too late. I'm done. There wasn't much to say. Just wanted to pop back on stage to give my shoutout.

PS: Walking with a dog can get you to make friends or enemies, depending on opposing parties' opinion on canine pets. Most of the time if the former is established, it'd be with the opposite sex, with yer fellow animal partner acting as a pick-up. Strangely enough, this time, I ended up talking to a tattoo-clad dude wearing a beanie and over-sized headphones. I assume he's a dog-lover, considering how much he favoured Victory. We ended up chatting about Uno, who many of you might not know of. Uno is the famous Jack Russell residing in my condo, whose territory is the patio of one of the ground floor units at my block. He practically barks at anything that moves. Recently, he went missing and the family, including several neighbours, started missing his squeaky voice. A couple of weeks passed before he miraculously returned to the house, all groomed. Okay, I dunno where this is leading but it's got something to do with how guys actually don't gossip much, let alone talk to other male strangers, aside from work or other forms of formal query.

ORD 1st anniversary

I just got back from what was initially assumed by me as a job opportunity dropping from the sky. I was quite pumped when the lady over the phone told me that I had been shortlisted from a list of students that they need to assist them in freelance. Apparently, they had gotten my number from a survey they did on me in the previous week at school. Call me naive but I saw it as a heavenly hint to get a job, fer I had thought it was gonna be some secretarial work. True enough(partially), the scope was to help out with a certain manager at a certain company, which involves selling health products and making money through what many of you will be familiar with, multi-level marketing. Frankly, I was quite disappointed that I was not filled in on such detail before making my time to rush down to Eunos. So anyway, I'm an open guy, not like a particular unreasonably fierce girlfriend who started cursing the people she didn't even meet fer "indirectly wasting her life"(just chill lah). I sat and listened to the orientation talks and even bothered to let in the concept fer I was gonna make the trip worth at least something. They were quite honest in their approach on persuasion, which I quite admire since it hardly feels real in their world. I was also quite surprised that most of the staff were around their 20s. Very young company. However, it was not enough to convince me to join them as a worker. I totally wouldn't feel a sense of belonging working this style of business. And as many of you would agree, I'm obviously not a "work harder, earn harder" kinda guy.

Oily food and heavy liquor was involved over the weekend with the occurence of my cousin Jovyna's wedding. I was already starting to feel the mental pain from lack of sleep due to early morning school and late night MSNing. I'm just glad she finally found someone to settle down with fer life. It's at points of life like this when yer mind starts wandering in a sea of what-ifs; everyone's getting married or at least planning to save up fer the ceremonials and they all belong to the same age group, so is it necessary fer me to be standing in line? Another thing is the annoying fact you can't differentiate distant cousins from complete strangers, you might actually have designs on some hot girl who's actually yer dad's cousin's brother-in-law's daughter.

Last night, we caught up with EngChye to have a pool session and dinner to celebrate a quiet but fulfilling birthday slot specially squeezed into his schedule fer us. I know two more things now: pool skills have severely deteriorated and Shin Kushiya serves awesomely delicious skewered japanese food.

PS: Honeymoon period fer school is almost over, time to splurge all energy before I turn into a robot.

the student speaks

Yes, I do realise that I have been away. Quite frankly, I haven't much to say but I'll try. I think it's mostly due to the fact that I don't keep in mind what to enter when something intriguing happens that you guys might actually bother hearing in about.

I suppose a major change would be that I'm now in my second semester, fer those of you who know that I'm currently in school. MDIS seems pretty cool so far, I've been around and about the UniCampus fer a while now and I guess you could say I'm still new enough to feel fascinated about the place and still has been here long enough to know the dirty deals that go on within.

On a more casual side, I haven't been frequenting town fer ages since the opening of Cathay's cineplex branch at DownTown East, Pasir Ris. With Subway and tickets fer $6, what's the point of heading to Orchard, the concrete jungle, when there's an actual park leading to the beach just outside my new hangout?

I just wanna let you people know that you're not forgotten and that I'm glad I'm not forgotten by you too... Our time together has not been thinning out because I'm attached, I assure you that. I'm pretty sure all of you will admit that it's the drive to head outdoors nowadays that is dying. Even with that fact outta the picture, I'm quite blank when it comes to blogging recently. This is not to say that I'll be quitting though. I strongly believe that after times of boredom, comes an era of awesome. Just waiting fer that period to come by. Yawn~

PS: Just to make sure I don't phase out like a time-shift victim... YQ, still waiting fer that Clone Wars movie outing. Khai, Metal Slug, KOF, Monster Hunter! EngChye, looking forward to yer birthday. Betty, urm, see ya soon. Haha.
