So, it's just one of those days with nothing to do and you start thinking about shit. This post will totally not justify my denial of being too free fer my own good but I just need to blurt some of this stuff out.
Just thought, with the Lunar New Year coming up in less than a month, Hong Kong's Disneyland'll probably be having a field day as it's the Year Of The Mouse and it's definite that they'll play it along with the world famous mascot. Souvenirs will be up fer grabs, we all know how auspiscious Chinese people can get.
Next up, my mind pondered quite a bit on the hierarchy of society and how it affects the way people behave. Not specifically aiming at certain organizations here, you know how it just is no matter where you work at. Evidently, in this world, everyone starts somewhere. Yet, there are individuals up in the ranks who, I blatantly put it, toy with their subordinates. Have these heads forgotten what it's like to be a raw conscript of the community? Or do they look further up to see bigger posts suppressing their through freedom, only to realize the dawn of careers originate below ground zero? Worse, they could all just be planning to climb up the ladder of power to quench their thirst by abusing the juniors?
Hey, it's just two pennies' worth. Not like it can compare to the number of lives taken by pilots. This may come to you as a narrow-minded generalisation. I'm just saying, from all the risk-taking occupations I've browsed, I suppose the pilot is the most responsible one and yet they get the load of accidents off their shoulders simply. Of course, it's just an assumption and I'm not saying I'm right but I've got a coupla scenarios to back my opinion up. Commandos have been said to die in training, most of them due to heli-insert operations. Miscommunication triggers the pilot to release their lines a little too early, only fer the men to fall to their sad death. Commercial aircrafts, passengers have died and you can't always blame it on the technicalities. Thirdly, on the 19th of January in 1966, a B-52 bomber was carrying 4 freakin' hydrogen bombs collided with a refuelling jet over the coast of Spain, which knocked the killers off and 2 of them actually exploded. Thankfully, no lives were lost that day but it contaminated a surprisingly small area of 2 square kilometres. There was no news on the pilot. No, he was not erased. I doubt the army really does such dirty work. I suppose the only reason fer this is that the pilots are already tolerating with their mental burden and no more actions can be taken as punishment.
If you've got better answers, just comment on them in the tags.

tepu rekoda
Second time round, thing're appearing to be more fun in language class. There's still not much interaction between the cliques though. Amanda blames the furniture. =P Great, I have this feeling the sensei's already marked us both as the most recognizable in the room.
Not much else was achieved today. Managed to consume Burger King, SweetTalk and 1901(brand, not the number of, it's hotdogs, by the way) products. Also, had the leisure of teasing Khairul with freedom via SMS as he's in Tekong on duty fer his beloved subordinates' honeymoon week. Lol~ However, I won't be continuing on this kinda mockery as I've heard some blogger in China died after getting the shit kicked outta him by authorities over political matters. Still, I mention something like this to reason with my miscarried joke, inculcating readers on the general opinion on reactions to "such concern" in yer own countries. Ironic~
In news that the world could care less about, German experts claim to have unravelled the mysterious identity of the model behind(not literally, duh, so don't bother checking up on it) Mona Lisa and some dude that makes wind instruments out of vegetables.
PS: There is no PS today.

and i'm back here again
But not missing, wanting or needing so. A day spent with the "sannin senpai", Arthur, YiQiang & Serene. Met them fer lunch at Eighteen Chefs, the bistro that took the space of the formerly reknown waffle place where I used to chill with Boon and EngChye, which name I can no longer remember. Doubt the outlet has literally got 18 chefs though, not entirely sure too if it's a whole franchise or just a sole restaurant. The meal followed up to a trip to Ikea, where the amazing race fer YQ's new furniture ensued.
It was fairly quick, considering our frequent disorientation and the massive crowd. The rain didn't hold back though, and I was persuaded to tagged with the gang back to Bedok. First time at YiQiang's place. Sure has a nice feel to it, despite the mess. Contents of our discussions mostly forgotten but I had a fun day, aside from the semi-sleepy mode. Credits to the weather.
PS: Who knew a walk down to Challenger to purchase a microphone and ear pads would turn out to be a whole day affair... Lol.

blood is thicker than blog
So, I thought of embedding something from Beat Crusaders but I think I'd advertise fer my cousin here to show my support fer him. Yes, he's Hagen Tan Meng Qi. You've probably seen his face at bus stops or on the buses quite recently.
good morning number two
Early enough to catch Kids Central. Pokémon was on. Finally, Ash broke his voice. He still looks the same as he was almost a decade ago though. Pikachu's probably way over Level 100 by now.
Obviously still in a high from last night's glucose overdose, my mind started pondering on general sorta-sexist complaints of Singapore as I watch Fear Factor while having my phallic breakfast. Many local girls tend to envy other females, from the individual's aspect, that is. It could be due to insecurity or whatnot. But don't try to make yerself feel better by putting it in a way that white women are naturally bigger than asian women. Well, that's partially correct. However, comparing the own body to that of celebrities' is like... Say... Comparing Superbad to Beowulf. Okay, I guess that analogy would sound a little extreme. Ah, you get the idea. If there's a flaw in yer body you wanna rid, do something about it. Yer admiration fer those who look well-endowed is definitely an illusion, I believe the actual term is called being fit. A little muscle and tan won't keep the boys away. Heck, might even look a little sexay.
And if you really wanna talk about vitals, I suggest bubble tea. Heard it helped alot of Taiwanese chics.
All in all, I'm just advising. Hey, I assure you fer every lady on Earth, there are at least 2 or 3 guys that worship the ground you walk on, anyway... So keep yer chins up.
PS: OH NO! The microphone is dead. I doubt it's due to a wave feedback overkill.

It's probably stumbling upon freakin' random videos in the wee hours of the night that always get me too fired up to sleep. Tonight's reason:
And I'm not even a Soul Calibur fan.
PS: Or it could be just the peanut butter and chocolate, which explains the headaches in the morning. Stupid sugar rush.

it was a good hair day
Today, I surprised myself by managing to wake up before noon. Took my time to freshen up fer the "No Smoking" commercial casting. It was some retarded form of hand-modelling. It was lucky my aunt drove me there, since it along the way of her errand run.
After that, was the journey down to Marina Square to check out Ears Depot. Apparently, they're only looking fer full-timers. Bummer.
Back at EastPoint, the quest to find a fitting hairband begins. Yes, my hair is now officially long enough. Watson's didn't have a very large variety and they were all pretty feminine, not that hairbands are originally classified as unisexual items... It was a pretty tough choice, considering. Even the least feminine one wouldn't even be labelled by me as most masculine. Not that it matters, it wasn't on the receipt. Technically, you would call it shoplifting but it's the cashier's fault fer not noticing my sleight of hand. I suppose buying a facial wash and some pore packs really hid the fact that I was getting a head accessory, which was really my main objective. Like how some guys buy candy along with condoms at convenience stores.
PS: Time to flip the ads. Saddens me to tell myself the papers are way faster than door-to-door. Now, that's one less reason to head outdoors.

with my dying will
Gotta sleep, gotta sleep. I tried staying up a little longer than usual so that I could sleep at a normal bedtime but it backfired! Now, my hours are upside down! Close the eyes, man, close the eyes.
Shit.
PS: At least I got to save some tunes that were stuck in my head. I'll get down to improvising these raw records later this week.

HAHA i gotta remember this one
Just thought a joke would be a fresh form of plagiarism fer the blog. Not that I'm racist, anyway.
A class of five-year old school children return to the classroom after playing in the playground during their break time.
The teacher says to the first child, "Hello Becky, what have you been doing this playtime?" Becky replies, "I have been playing in the sand box". "Very good," says the teacher, "if you can spell 'sand' on the blackboard, I will give you a biscuit". Becky duly goes and writes 's a n d' on the blackboard. "Very good." says the teacher and gives Becky a biscuit.
The teacher then says, "Freddie, what have you been doing in your playtime?" Freddie replies "Playing with Becky in the sand box." "Very good," says the teacher. "If you can spell 'box' on the blackboard, I will also give you a biscuit," Freddie duly goes and writes 'b o x' on the blackboard. "Very good." says the teacher and gives Freddie a biscuit.
Teacher then says, "Hello Mohammed, have you been playing in the sand box with Becky and Freddie?" "No," replies Mohammed, "I wanted to but they would not let me. Every time I went near them, they started throwing sand at me and calling me nasty names."
"Oh dear," says the teacher. "That sounds like blatant racial discrimination to me - I'll tell you what, if you can spell 'blatant racial discrimination' I will give you a biscuit."
PS: Jap class was pretty fun, considering. Rough background knowledge on the language thanks to the numerous animes. =P

is it just me or...
It doesn't feel like a new year.
Maybe it needs time fer the feeling to settle in, like losing from a KO in a boxing match. Sorry, I couldn't think of a more optimistic comparision with that Hajime no Ippo(Wikipedia link fer all the non-animefreaks) marathon but the last Tuesday just felt like any other public holiday. The last national day was more breathtaking.
I suppose it's the lack of change. I've been doing the same thing mostly everyday since I was done re-uniting. I'll just wait to see what happens when I start with the language course, look fer a job, and try new songs.
PS: Suddenly, missing clubbing. =(

an awful audical assemble
Finally, got a chance to listen to our raw recording from the practice over at The Music Ensemble. Man, either we weren't really on form that night or we just... Sucked. I know everyone's gonna blame the neighbouring bass vibrations. But I still liked the Zombie from then(and my Gai-sensei impression). It's practically our "cover single" now.
Why am I still awake at least ungodly hour? Darling, sleeping habits are hard to change, at least there's progress, it was initially sunrise fer bedtime. And i just got back a while ago, Arthur drove. He was over with Serene and YiQiang fer a slightly productive discussion on genres. Supper was at Mad Jack's at Jalan Kayu, with convenience due to a car. What a sinful plate of chocolate right after the medium lamp chops. I guess it's alright to spoil my stomach after an okay diet plan. I was opened up to a new hang out over at Punggol Road. The view was pretty much industrial, triggering traces of memories from Ops B. A comfy shore area though, despite the crowd of fishermen and a police post.
Hopefully, we can have another session during the coming week. I feel that that we've been upped. And I'm not sure if that's proper English but heck. Willard's most likely bringing HengZhong in to be casted. Yay.
PS: BaoEn, if you still read my blog, since it's so cold up there, why don't you stick to wearing pants like you always do? Hahaha...

revolutions of resolutions
For days I've been planning on writing an extra long post to really welcome the new year but I thought that in the end it best be short and sweet with meaning.
Friends, like every year, we wish to better ourselves, hoping to improve the lifestyles that we are longing to change.
Those in love, let it not die. Disagreement is a phase of strengthening, like a bone under pressure, its marrow condenses. Those at home, don't complain about boredom when it was yer choice to stay indoors in the first place. If you really wanna do something, you'd be stepping out, regardless the weather, financial status, etc. Those broken, you may not get to leave the country, change yer number, or go fer surgery but the reset starts from the inside, so start with a fresh attitude, not brooding over the past's haunts. Chances are not given, they're earnt too, along with respect.
There are many other problems, however they come with solutions if you bother to flip to the back page. Like my grandma once told me, I'm the kinda guy that would use the fallen sky as a blanket. I'm sure in the working world, that would pose to be a problem but socially, it would be healthy. =P
PS: My resolutions are quite a number. I'm pretty much bumming around now so anything I'm getting started on is really technically one anyway.

sexyback
First of all, congratulations to Hadi Mirza fer winning the title of the pioneer competition of Asian Idol. I am most certainly proud of our local music scene fer at least trying a bit harder in recent times, allowing them to be more recognized overseas, of course, despite the posers that surface once in a while.
Onto soccer. Yes, soccer. I was once a very young and avid fan of the game, playing and spectating, neither of which I have done of late. Well, a shout-out to all Manchester United fans reading. Yes, we will win this time. We shan't be threatened by ARSEnal and LOSERpool. CHELSEA too. What? Oh yeah. Well, it's a girl's name.
With so much free time, I've currently decided to spend at least a bit of it on exercise. I guess that low-carb diet's a good warm up, seeing how I've got more energy and willpower to actually get down on the floor. Static stations aren't a problem. I can see now that running is though. Even with Timbaland's Shock Value as a step tempo, I could shamefully squeeze out 20 minutes or so. My comfort reason was that I did it on an empty stomache. =P
Spent an entire day at the National Service Resort & Country Club after doing some praying at the temple at Ubi. Bowling was on the schedule, although not fer long. Suck at the game, man... I miss haven't my own ball. And house balls sure hurt the thumb after 3 consecutive games. Rest of the hours were killed by waiting on the couch outside the fruit machine room with the PSP. Damn, if I knew the weather would've lightened up, I'd have brought my midcuts fer a dive or hog up the steam room... Sigh.

apologize
Ya know how some songs just get stuck in yer head fer a coupla days straight 'cos the lyrics're somethin' ya can relate to...? This is one of them. And it always appears to act like some sort of soundtrack to a certain phase of the year.

ow numb butt
Stupid Writer's Guild. This brings me back to the childhood story of the fox who lost its tail in a bear trap and when on to tell the other foxes that it was a trend to lose it. Thanks to the strike, anime translations have slowed down and serials like Heroes have ceased upon a cliffhanger(then again, the end of EVERY episode is a cliffhanger). However, I doubt Singapore's media industry is supporting this. Like many have said, our people only know how to take advantage of setbacks.
Other countries:
"Oh my goodness, a car accident!"
People whip out their phones to dial fer the ambulance.
Singapore:
"Oh my goodness, a car accident!"
People whip out their phones to save the car plate number to buy 4D later on.
Also, it could be that we don't produce enough good quality shows to be considered part of the group.
In other news, a shooting had occured in the state, Colorado, earlier this week. It ended when the security guard managed to put him down. Now, here's the thing, I know that in America, nearly every Tom, Dick, Harry, Peter, Clark, Bruce or Tony would be able to purchase fer a gun at legal age with enough money and qualifications fer handling. But why in the world would the church's security guard be carrying a gun(although it helped prevent more deaths) in the first place? In fact, why do churches need security guards? Or any other religious place of worship? It's not because I'm an atheist but just wondering as a person, if you're already at a place like that where everyone is trying to repent/confess/whatever, you'd at least think that the current states of everyone's minds is at least pure. And don't gimme that:
"Sir, I'm afraid you can park here."
"Oh yeah and why is that, old man?"
"Because I have the gun?"
Anyway, that was just two pennies' worth. The guy's a hero after all, sort of. He said it was because he had God. Wow, I mean, what can you say to that...
"I'm going to kill everybody here because Christians caused the world's problems!"
"Hush. God is here."
Beats the Punisher or Daredevil any day. Apparently, the gunman got pushed so far that he snapped and directed all his negative energies on one specific thing, which is the reason why I stopped being a real asshole after secondary school and rather be the current bud of all jokes instead but that's an entirely irrelevant story altogether. It's like the difference of being morally and politically right. Like these guys who probably had a valid reason fer what they did and eventually got away with it.
Ahem. TO THE MOVIES! My fave. New Year's is coming and 2008 promises a load of highly anticipated flicks, top 2 being Iron Man and The Dark Knight(releasing superhero films really proves that money fuels their inspiration fer originality but we still buy it anyway =P). Others include Indiana Jones' and Rambo's new installments. You used to think that they were just hardcore and adventurous, now they're just crazy old men. Something that caught my eye was a teaser shown before The Golden Compass(IS THAT ALL?!?!?!), Cloverfield. I know it's like an equation derived from Godzilla, The Blair Witch Project and Lost. Still, tell me you're not intrigued:
Dude, how come we don't have parties like this?
PS: Dinner last night at Dempsey Hill was really, really impressive.

wet winter
Either we have a long way to go, or we've yet to discover our style, Carabenas. I strongly believe that we should, not say exactly, stick to a certain style. It may not be easy but at least we'll know that that's gonna be our most fitting sound. The sync is there so let's try something suitable. I'm open to ideas till we've tried whatever choices. Best bet's to sit together and filter the list.
Nothing new, the rain's washing constantly washing away my willpower to keep in shape. Thank goodness I was forcefully able to squeeze 90 lifts, 90 push-ups and 180 sets of leg-raising today. Dinner was duck porridge and then curry flavoured Maggi much later. Baby steps. Irresistable urges to fondle my left ear have caused slight bleeding and an annoying streak of stings, at least the redness is gone now. I suppose there was a bit of internal bleeding that just oozed out when I touched the wound. Enough about diet-Faced-Of-Death. Hairwise, the parents weren't keen about the center-parted/back-spiked 'do, so I reverted back to the side-parting yesterday, which now looks like it has an insanely long fringe compared to my fresh high-sloped crews. I shall pardon the pokes about my physical emoness fer the greater good.
PS: The video is in no way depicting my mental state. It's just a nice song I'm putting up with the literal take on the title, Monsoon, based on the weather and the triggered remembrance of the fact that Greg told me he saw someone who looked like me today, who turned out to be a girl(thanks alot -_-). Plus it makes my post look longer.
I shall pardon the pokes about my physical emoness fer the greater good.

day in a life of a nerdy bumming fashionista starring mad dayman
Yesterday, had lunch with my folks at Paragon's Dôme. 2-word review: tasteful toast. The bread on their sandwiches and soup were friggin' awesome. We were there because my father had an x-ray taken the day before and were on our way to collect it. Turns out his consecutive ultra-pains he suffers every night were due to spinal bone fragmentation. Now, it's not as serious as it sounds, bones do turn fragile as aging occurs. But it's not that I'm not worried, too. -_-"
While they were at the hospital awaiting the results, I took the opportunity to walk over to Heeren do get my ear-piercing, which has been delayed from lack of reason to leave the house, done. Of all the time in the world, the day and time I decide to make an unnatural hole in my lobe, a buncha unnerving little girls in front of me make a queue fer fashionable mutilation as well. Besides the fact that I was the only guy in the entire 77th Street, neither the wait nor the squeals from them helped at all, being a virgin piercee. It's quite a late age, however, a new experience fer me, even though I grew up at a cosmetics shop that my mom worked at. A slight period of time was wasted on browsing the variety of funky rings, that by the way did not catch my eye, little did I know there were only a set of default studs to pick from fer ears or noses or whatever body part you intend on piercing through. The lady had the cheek to even ask which side I wanted, such an unfunny joke. The feeling was awfully similar to the blood test, eeee~.

I know it's nothing flashy, I'll do my shopping.
So, like, anyway, much later I was dropped off at Kev's, where I initally had half the heart to go to since everytime I go to his place, it's like 10 minutes of multiplayer and the rest of the day of do-yer-thang. Regardless, I arrive and we hunt giant baboons on Monster Hunter 2. Bows suck in that game, man, totally. Thankfully after that, Mythbusters was on TV. Yay. You learn new things everyday, interesting inventions, strange facts and what the future holds. Like I always new crocodiles were ambush predators, leave the water and they won't chase you, so you don't even have to bother making yer zigzagged route of escape. I also always new that you can't fold any piece of paper more than 7 times, which I in turn know that some of you will try as soon as you read and brutally forced upon the sheet the 8th fold, which probably won't even count in a fair experiment because the item now looks damn fucked up. Only while watching the Discovery Channel will you wonder why science was never this fun in school. If anyone were to reenact a miniature flaming "accident" of the Hindernburg to find out if the cause is mainly due to the hydrogen gas or paint on the derigible, the result would be charges against arson. And yer parents would probably disown you fer driving the car into the swimming pool on purpose due to the itching curiosity on whether a car door is able to open under pressure... Whatever. Then came Future Weapons, what an awesome documentary series. Screw the patriot missiles and massive guns, I was into DragonSkin. It's a new product currently being tested by the US military, kinda like the next generation of bullet proof vests. Sure beats D30 super foam, that's like extreme memory foam. Just when ya think Earth's technology's nearing its peak, you witness the unthinkable like this as well. War might well be brought back down to hand-to-hand combat tactics after ammunition is rendered useless. Who knows.
Enough dreaming. Skip channels to MTV. Boiling Points and Wanna Come In? are so painful to watch, yet you can't stop watching them. Plus celebrities these days give a whole new meaning to stardom, definitely not a good one. Take My Chemical Romance fer example, I dunno what their problem is but their full-band attendance record fer live performances hasn't been that good lately if not at all. Don't get me started on Britney's situation...
Dinner was Mac's(from Ara, thanks dude...) and KFC delivery again. Oh my goodness, it's the umpteenth time I've eaten their food and the umpteenth time I'm telling myself to stop. Neverending story... Lotsa talk about tattoos in the midst of waiting fer the king of lateness to arrive(Khairul, duh) before we breezed the night away with army talk, Street Fighter and techno music. Also debated the true gender of Tokio Hotel's lead singer.
Okay, ended up in Tampines till 8AM this morning. Took a cab home. The End. Yes. I just woke up, what else do you want me to say? Now go spend yer time watching Dane Cook.

The Linkin Park concert live at the Singapore Indoor Stadium was something that I miraculously left out in my November summary. Guess it's possible to leave out a highlight like this when you're cramming it all in a single post. Here are some photos:

And some other less significant ones:

resistance is futile
Late nights + unhealthy diet = I look like shit.
Must... Wind... Bio... Clock...
PS: Most ecstatic moment that happened this week has got to be wearing my iPod into the campus, dumping the disc on the lecturer's table and walking out as Night Drive by All-American Rejects came on. Second would be a tie between constant inbox message rush fer model assignments and anxiously waiting fer the next jamming session.
Nothing else can get boring once you've tried catching prawns on an empty tummy.Yeah, that's my mom trying her luck at the prawn pond(say that 5 times fast) in Bottle Tree Park. And the beer's all mine. =D

YMCA
Like how all wedding dinners should start. Late. We all arrived a half hour after the given time. Sure was an eye-opening experience similar to primary school on racial harmony day. It's definitely the first time in my life I've ever danced to bhangra as well. Thanks to Sameer and his jovial cousins...
PS: Fantastic food. Now it's time to dream about vomitting limitless beer foam. Zzzz...

what i've been up to
Aah, it's here. I know it's not as long as you readers expect it to be, after being gone fer so long, but I'm feeling mentally frail and physically flabby. And I'll be paragraphing my topics so you can skip the bitching you don't wanna read.
Musicwise, we haven't been jamming since 5 posts ago. YiQiang has been away in Thailand with Crescendo and Willard here has been busy selling wine and taking driving lessons(no matter how many times you tell me, I still think that sounds rather ironic). I really hope our next jam together will be a productive one, to say the least. There's about 8 songs on the list now, including a coupla new ones. However, I would be grateful if they took Starlight out. It really kills me. And I know they're also probably gonna make me regret saying this but I kinda miss doing Zombie.
Clubbing on the first fortnight was what killed the weekend late hours. Double O, as usual, hit the spot with great music, cool prices and crazy buddies. Though the management should think about fixing their air-conditioning. It was hot and dripping..... Okay, it didn't seem that erotic at that point of time. Ah well, nothing more fun that drunk-driving. I should probably fill you guys in on the bad parts too. MOS. Ministry Of Shit, I tell you. It's gonna be the 3rd time I vow never to step into the place(I had to revisit that hole due to valid reasons). Portray Hell in the movies, no space, plenty of souls rubbing against one another with hands in the air, replace the groaning with underground R&B and you have the Smoove Area. Although the Main Arena had trance, which was fine by me as a genre, it took literally forever to move on to the next track. My guess was that the DJ left fer the loo and put it on replay with various aeroplane noises as the audical transition. At least I was able to meet up with old BMT mates like Rishi and Arib.
D&D. Probably the most exciting thang that happened in the month, besides meeting fer our new card game(cannot reveal details as stated on contract's print). Oh boy, how geeky but yeah. Sad, we all died in the end. Guess it's time fer a fresh campaign. Probably a light-hearted one that's stress- or drama-free. The other guys have probably done their fair share of mourning fer their past characters.
Home truly, where my heart has mostly been in the past 30 days. Proud to announce that my pad is officially declared tidy, based on past standards. People have been dropping by every now and then to have a good look. Wonder when we'd be able to get a new tenant now that we've decided to move over to Simei Green, the condo, by March 2008. Downgrading, my friends say. Pfft. I've already worked out the plan fer my future room. I took the smallest room mainly because it does not have any built-in cupboards and shelves. It has a nice window too plus a diagonally-cut wall to place my future flat-screen on so that I can play my consoles from the bed. Muahahahaha. Still, it really saddens me to know that Whiskey is to be given away.
Hmmm, when I'm out... Wait. I hardly went out. I did catch some movies like Beowulf and Game Plan. Ugh, come to think of it, I wasted most of the time I had at home trying to "complete" my school project that I unfailingly(is that even a word?) procrastinated day after day with Facebook and CrunchyRoll. Thanks to Gurvin and Thamarai fer helping. ;')
Pretty much wraps up the rainy month. I'm feeling real disappointed now realising that I've not been a very productive male(in a non-sexual sense) fer the last four weeks. Learning random stuff over YouTube doesn't count. =(
PS: Regarding the Singtel commercial(ancient news), I didn't get the part.

that popped my cherry
With Khairul away, I've been mostly hanging out with the Red Carabena. I love saying that. Red Carabena. Cara. Bena. Care-A-Bean-Ah. Hehe. I'm home today. Lessons on Wednesday mornings are shitty fer me since my current official bedtime is at 4am. And the fact that they are more like tutorials(not like there's a difference now that it's the project phase) with only 90 minutes of class. ALL THE WAY IN THE WEST. If there was a way to fold this country in half, my education and residence will occupy the exact same space.
Someone tried to call me via the SAF outgoing line this afternoon, during my temporary slumber. If it's you reading, please let me know. It's one of my pet peeves to receive a missed call and not a clue who it was.
Stud Club News on a rare outdoor-Greg day, he's going to buy HellGate London. I would've gotten it too, if it weren't fer those meddling kids. No, I'm sorry, if it weren't fer my age-old PC. I think it's defected. Which makes me fear wishing fer eternal life as a human, maybe that's why we use only a maximum of 5% in our entire lives. Any more and we may end up with more problems than Microsoft. Back on track, we wonder whether a HellGate Singapore is in progress. It might be cool. Funny. But cool. Chaos is what this country needs. Okay, a joke. I might get arrested fer this quote because some nosy blog-hopper reported me fer it. But I didn't backspace, did I? It's a joke. Really.
I-Models called. Wow. I got a call. Tomorrow's the casting day fer a Singtel website video commercial and I'm shortlisted. It's gonna be in Chinatown, yay, haven't been to Chinatown in months. Hope I get selected. ^^
PS: Sony PSP + Nintendo DS + XML Project = I need some exercise. All I have is food.
Oh yeah, there was a cute cute CUTE cashier chic over at Science Center's Mac's. She looked kinda sweet when she got angry at excursion students getting between her and my order. Haha. But that's all that really mattered to me, besides the new threadmill my father just got today, on Wednesday, the last day of October 2007. And you've just been filled in.

Dan: "YuXuan... And Alyssa."

Dan: "Urm, okay but they're just friends lah..."
Me: "Oh really? Then how come you don't have sex with me?"
Eugene: "EH! I told him that last week!"

not in sync
And I thought Zombie was overexerting. Starlight just killed me and we've got the cassette to prove it. The reflection phase was awfully embarrassing, with full of audical mistakes. It's probably the momentum. We weren't exactly feeling like ourselves today. Never do 3 hours again.
I vomitted in the morning. Ugh. Now I'm feeling drained. Guess I'll hit the sack after dinner.
PS: School sucks in more ways than one.

omfg
What a great way to start the day. Or end it. Should be going to sleep soon. I've been contemplating fer a while now on whether or not to purchase my very own PS3. Now, I offically have a reason to get it. A really motivating one.
And here it is:
So, I can hereby declare that I'm no longer upset with CAPCOM fer taking such a long time to make the next installment. It's a significant upgrade. Tell me you wet yerself.
PS: Yes, I love Street Fighter.

it's magic i tell you
The moment my last entry went through, I got a call from YQ. Funny, isn't it? Like a sign. Sure, I didn't get to do my run or have my BK meal but my I was answered with guaranteed company. Boy, I sound lonely.
Anyway, I fulfilled that Sakae Sushi buffet that I had craved since last week. While rapidly gaining mass, we debated on the law of Murphy, emoness and fairness in all natural aspects. Then we stopped after the soft shelled crabs. And showed him a route that'll save two MRT stations' fare. Lots of cock and bull dialogue as usual. Plus a movie. There's always a movie. The Drummer. I have to say Jaycee Chan's acting has pretty much improved since FlashPoint. And Angelica Lee Sinje is so cute. She kinda looks like Erdiana. Or the other way round. Whatever.
Was that all? I'm certain it was 8 hours out in total... And being stuck at The Picturehouse due to heavy weather didn't take long.
PS: Oh, also bumped into Divian and Dhaniah. She always has a new hair colour everytime I see her.

a bum's bum
Fer the postless days of the month of October, I think I'd be correct to say that I have been up to nothing. And by nothing, I don't mean I'm doing meaningless crap, I mean literally nothing. Okay, safe fer playing the DS or having meals. Heck I didn't even step outta my house. Yet I start sleeping only in the ungodly hours of the morning.
I'll probably go check out Burger King later. Hope they still have free upsizes. Maybe catch the Bourne Trilogy after I'm done with my run. And maybe those sudden twilight zone anxiety attacks'll stop since I've been given a sign by Kinokuniya. Friday's 20%, shall go purchase some more manga then.
PS: Oh shit, the holidays are over. School starts tomorrow. Again.

the hybrid handheld gamer says
Lately, it's the band that I've been hanging out with, when my ass is actually out the door. Initially intended to just drop by Park Mall fer my portfolio(pictures are up on FaceBook) and head straight home but that would be all too fishy since I'm not known fer short outings. Marina Square was to be the next stop with YQ fer his phone purchase. Personally, I like phones, I just hate the process of buying the phone. I guess it's based on past experiences with bargaining parents, negotiations like these with salesmen bore me to the core. It was a nice wait in the arcade. =)
Mr Woodcock was a pretty cool movie that you could adapt to in real life. I had a Mr Woodcock in my Primary 4 year. His name was Mr PuruShotMan. Yes. That was his official name. Seriously. He was like an Indian Bruce Willis. Seriously. Not a fond year of mine. -shivers-
Willard arrived with Amanda after their dinner and we chilled a little with coffee. If my statistical analysis is correct, 100% of our non-jamming meets have ended up with coffee. And fer future cafe visits, I shall go with Willard's taste.
PS: Metroid Prime Hunters is a pretty cool game. And I'm so enthusiastic about The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, finally got it. Oh, and I came across this on DeviantArt, would just like to say that I'd totally play this if it were a fighting game. =D

uuuuhhhhhh
With so much time on my hands, days just feel like weeks when I'm stuck with nothing to do. I've definitely used more than enough of my hours surfing the Net and watching movies. If not, I just end up stoning while thinking up my project.
The agency called today, my portfolio's ready. Geez. Didn't feel like picking it up. Maybe I'll head out tomorrow, if I can find more than one reason to drag my ass outta the house.
PS: It's like a slow and evil transformation of a young boy turning into stagnant bum. Sad to say that majority of our male population crosses this path in at least one point of their lives.

happy days
Clubbing was never this fun since the 30SCE logistics personnel. Maybe I just prefer going out with buddies that just wanna get pissed drunk all night and acting like weowndafarkinplace rather than prowling around, practising pick-up lines.. But it was a hellotta moolah blown away.
So anyway I was, like, at the studio fer a photoshoot on Friday. I finally decided to go with the idea of having a portfolio regardless... I've discussed it earlier in the month with my parents but they didn't gimme a final answer so I took the silence as consent. Felt pretty good after that, I know my tight budget only let me do 3 different looks, guess that'll have to do. And the make-up mama disapproved my clothing fer the set. At least touched up properly on my face. First up was her idea of smart casual, that made me eat my words after looking at the attire. The top was this long-sleeved version of what the Soldiers in FF7 wore fer battle. Awesome. The camera girl was fun too. Maybe I was a little excited because it was my first time... Virgin model. Felt a little awkward doing my own posing, I'd prefer her tell me what to do. The sportwear was all Adidas. Lastly, was a striking suit. I think I'm in love with suits now. When I've got the cash, I'll go look around G2000. Who knows when I might need one...
Spring-cleaning in my room is off to a good start, considering my rate of working. I'm done with reorganising my computer table, it's not plugged in yet though, shall go purchase some extension plugs tomorrow when I'm out fer lunch.
PS: Muahahahaha... Little bro's flying off to Brunei and soon, the PSP shall be ALL MINE!!! But dammit lah, the Hard Mode fer Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes is just damn difficult to play. Guess unlocking the remaining characters will have to wait. I'll just chill with Lumines fer now.
First up was her idea of smart casual, that made me eat my words after looking at the attire. timekiller testing
Newly found interests such as Nintendogs and Graffiti have kept me a little away from boredom in recent days... Finally, time to get down and dirty, wreck havoc tonight fer it is Kev's 21st birthday! Woot.
But fer now, I have learnt that late night plus early class without breakfast only equates to major gastric and nausea. I was a pretty easy victim fer carsickness today and was awfully anal about how uncomfortable I felt until I saw a buncha special kids sitting by the coffeeshop. Then I started laughing inside...
Ooookay, time fer a nap before the big night at Zouk.
PS: Note to self, since you've already planned out how to relay yer room, get it done, as soon as you're finished with this drawing...

hello
Been at other stuff lately. Late nights with marshmallows and beer, role-playing various games, drawing and colouring multiple doodles, etc. Same old, same old. Not much has happened since I last posted. So, fer now I'd like to direct yer attention onto the most exciting breakfast I had...
While having a delightful bowl of Waffles Crisp with fresh milk on the morning of yesterday, I flipped open The New Paper to read the most moving story(to me) ever.
Mr Yahya Jamali, from Malaysia, is officially my newest and biggest(both metaphorically and physically) hero. I know the press tends to exaggerate a little on stories like this. However, whoever can take on a fucking surprise attack from a 4-metre long crocodile in the middle of a river while carrying wood home fer his family has got to be a bloody real-life action man. I dunno about you guys, but he's a celebrity to me right this moment. And he's in pretty damn good shape, considering how many people have survived being predated like this.
-claps-
There you go, guys. Our very own Southeast-Asian Chuck Norris. My Man of the Year.
PS: More of the story here.

woes of a mister
So many things to do and so little time. Those that I need and want. I have already decided what's to be on the list.
Advance diploma, model contract, driver's license, DVD marathon, manga artistry, leisure singer/keyboardist, etc.
And I'm still single. =(
PS: Something's wrong with the tagboard. Hmmm, it's not my fault, definitely...

staring contest
Here I am, once again, in front of my beloved keyboard.
Disappointed, I am. Failed to achieve the goal of tidying my room before the week ended. And I guess it's gonna take a while fer that to happen since I've gotta mug on XML and my driving's advance theory. Not to ferget that my artist's inspiration is back. Gonna do some doodles right after this.
Last night was totally gay. Watching I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry says it all. T'was a good movie though.

day 10
I bumped into Big Sam today. Brings a whole new meaning to "old school". Sameer Kahn. Who's not really that big now... Army happened. Took me to one mississippi to verify his facial properties. The unshaven look totally hid it all, man. We caught up a little bit at the Science Center's MacDonald's during my break. The other bit of our attention was taken away by that jiggly girl whom I think was juggling about on purpose. Lesson ended rather early today. Either the teacher isn't very enthusiastic about XML or she thinks the class isn't(then again, who is?). We headed down town by the red line, awfully long enough to talk about stuff ranging from army to games. That's like girls talking about boys to shoes. But let's not go there... So anyway, Paragon to Sunshine Plaza and split at Bugis MRT(another talent scout appeared along our strolling session, stop trying to suck my money by boosting my ego, biatches). I think I chose the wrong comic serials to follow, they haven't published new issues fer months now. -sob-
Dinner was postponed till later with Eugene. Back home, it was, fer a little work out and rinsing. Vanity got the better of me as I rushed fer Tampines, only to realise at the junction in front of the station that I totally missed my wallet. By the way, this had happened before, acted cool with the iPod while swearing my ass off inside. Then he had to call to confirm the later timeslot when I'm all sweaty(fergot the transit card but there was no way I was gonna make a second trip back). No worries, more time fer food and a little joypad action. Yoshinoya was delightful, despite the beetle shell hanging from the chilli powder packet, was too lazy to complain. And I hate challengers, can't I have a decent game before my movie without interruptions? Left the machine before he KO'ed me, heh.
Rogue Assassin was awesome. Disappointed me though, in a way that there were more gunfights than martial arts displays. Plus a very, very twisted twist with a twist at the near end so be fast if ya wanna get it. I know it's like a spoiler, sorry. =P
PS: Walked home to Muse. Feels pretty damn good singing Starlight as loud as I can without anyone around.
Also... This is obviously the most highly anticipated and hottest thang next to The Dark Knight. Say it with me now. Fuck Spiderman.

dumped a lump...
Of photos. Dumped a lump of photos into Slide today. That's right. This application should be updated quite frequently with new pictures. I'm a camwhore, after all. This time round has a load in it 'cos I was filtering the stuff I got. Yahoo! Photos is gonna close in a week's time and I gotta transfer my library of photos to PhotoBucket before then. Or else all my pictures will be automatically deleted.
Blasphemy.
Blasphemy.

condolences to the many of 2001

A break from the monotonous reality, which is my life, at two gatherings, both hosted at DownTown East. Yes, the place is back up, theme park's still under construction though.
Chalet #1: 3SG "Dan" Low Eng Chye's birthday slumber.
Wore pink on purpose to create that statement. Obviously, everyone read into it the moment they saw me, except the girls, of course. It feels pretty cliché to say it, probably 'cos it's an over-rated phrase*. Movie marathon plus PG-13 forfeits. Sleeping in a weaving pattern. Wine all over the floor. The perfect mess.
Chalet #2: Mr. Benedict Chan Hsien Yang's birthday session.
T'was more of the chillin' till our dear Uncle See popped out of the ground. Fer the guys who've yet to hang out with him outside camp, he's a totally different person. Executing the most daring stunts that make us hide our faces. But then again, he's like our drunk meter, when we have to stop him, we have to stop too. Had alot of cheap beer that night. And I'm probably gonna hit stage two of the black lung soon enough. Ugh...
PS: What? You expect full details? Don't be crazy... Parties are all about, "WHOA YA SHOULDA BEEN THERE, MAN!!!"...
*Please see photo fer details. =)

pink is the new black
I'll say it once and I'll say it good, "ORD loh".
Today, I collected my IC. Whoopie... I don't feel all that sparkly inside, wonder why. It's not that I'm gonna miss the army life, rather, it wasn't that special on the whole. Didn't even rush down to collect it, let alone taunt the guards as I made my last exit from Jurong Camp.
It could be because I've got nothing special waiting fer me in the military afterlife. Or just a bloody hot day.
The wait fer the bus was nauseatingly torturing, apart from the smell of artificial chilli from lunch consumed by the guy beside me, mixed with airborne particles mostly consisting of grounded concrete resulted from the railway in progress, the sun was glaring and steaming freely in the nude. Put some clouds back on, Mr. Skin-Fryer. Skipped the plan fer Jurong Point and headed to town instead fer some window-shopping. Combed Far East Plaza to Plaza Singapura. Bumped into some of the Platoon 6 guys along the way, apparently, if we didn't collect our cilivian cards by the end of office hours today, we'd be charged fer AWOL, or so I hear but it wouldn't have affected me. Ended up with only new 2 t-shirts. And they were from Takashimaya, gosh, simply faaabulous. Haha. The salesgirls, I meant. Could be a service thing to smile fer the customer, or they really liked me. =) Deflated the ego in remembrance of someone else in mind. -sigh- See? Some guys are actually devoted. Although not as devoted as our homeland's new protagonist, CPL Dave Teo.
Which brings me to a short topic change. I know things like that happen many a time on our little reclaimed island. But I seriously think that the press is really following a contradicting principle of theirs. Being fellow Singaporeans and commenting on how "ugly" our national image has become, yet publishing stories like these to feed their prying minds. Nosing into personal stories fer ratings, purely shameful. I fer one feel that the news was broadcasted in a way to condemn this fellow(although personally, I, too, think that he's an idiot) and not to teach our society a good lesson on such mistakes, especially the minors. Sure, people are different. People have different levels of tolerance and situation assessment skills. My opinion is that people are what they choose to be. This guy is no exception. I'm just making a point that the media should not have their own one-sided views on such information as an entity. An all-round enactment would be nice. Like what they do when old uncles get caught fighting at coffeeshops, or chinese prostitutes getting raped and robbed in cabs(vice versa). Possibly, most of our people judge street-wise intelligence by age. As the saying goes, "I've probably eaten more salt than you have eaten rice in yer life". Times are different, adults of Sin City. Youngsters eat fast food. And that's MSG.
Ahem. Back to journalling. Thank goodness the 'rents were done with their golf roadshow or whatever it was a HarbourFront. Would've died of boredom if I went to meet them there. I really, really, really don't fancy golf. I must have been really eager to come home and take off these ankle weights I had on fer 10 hours straight to leave the guy at the arcade beat up my character. Love annoying challengers like that. Coulda beaten you but I let you, biatch. Walking to the pick-up point, I came across a poster of one of my most highly anticipated movies to watch, Rogue Assassin, which now just makes me wanna laugh after reading what Khai blogged. It really seems like they're both arguing over the dumbest thing.
Jason Statham: "You ate my fries..."
Jet Li: "And they were delicious."
Just have to lawl fer that.
Oh. Haircut. I look like the Mr. Karate version of Ryo Sakazaki now with this 'do. And I haven't shaved. Just dye it ash blonde, don a gi and I can do a HaouShoKoKen. Heh. You guys probably wouldn't even get a flying fuck of what I just said. No worries, it's a gamer thang.
Some barley on the way home. Saw YuYi at the cashier. YuYi, if you're reading this, I went to BK today fer you but I did not get to talk to you because yer queue was longer... That's if you still recognise me in person. =\
PS: Is it morally wrong to walk into HMV with your iPod on?

the second one
Ah... To be young again. I know alot of readers will oppose what I'm about to say as I'm what they call, "still youthful".
It's just that... I was hanging out late at EastPoint earlier this evening with Khai after strolling back from Tampines. We're such bums; changing shillings fer arcade tokens, chilling with drinks from 7-11, battling with handhelds, etc. Taking it all so cool and easy. His little brother was going fly with his board by the stairs of the MRT station with his posse. Guess what. The BK crew. They're cool. I thought so, at least. My buddy was just plain annoyed because it was his younger sibling. They kinda reminded me of the old times, the old me. I missed exchange programs. Missed inter-school camps. Missed the girls, prefects and cheerleaders. I miss the parties. The dancing. The drama. I missed the hangouts. Novena Square, China Square, Marina Square, whatever Square. Back then, you didn't care what the world thought. A stupid lamb that knows no danger. Ignorance was confidence. Crazy was cool. Mad was rad. To have so much energy, so many friends. Counting scowls of passers-by. How fun. Wonder how the past cliques are holding up... I should try catching up with some of them. How did we even stray away from each other to different paths, I wonder. Many say 21 is the age every kid and adult wants to be. It's getting kinda monotonous. It's probably a post-army phase. I'm alone again in a new world. Like that second last box in Snakes & Ladders that brings you back down to one. Social status isn't exactly going in a circle, more like a spiral if you ask me, same pattern overlapping over and over...
I sound like that kinda person who doesn't know why he's fat or ugly and keeps emphasizing on the cause, not the solution. =( But before I do something about it, I have to... Crap. What do I have to do? I don't wanna try so hard to have fun. I'll give it time, probably just at the wrong place at the wrong time. Time is what I have to spare, anyway. Seeing how I'm still at the trial stage of adulthood and I'm using it to think like Michael Jackson and Peter Pan.
Young at heart, not the other thought. -_-
PS: I listed a coupla things in my head I could do before taking my degree. It'll take a few months before I can get started on mugging again, after this year ends, that is. Maybe a language course in Japanese or take up Aikido, all basics. Get my license once and fer all. See if New Urban Male has an opening fer any of their outlets. Since I'm not a member and I buy lotsa their stuff, might as well. And heterosexually stating this, Betty, it's not fer the chics.
Break free from introversy, Louis...

female dog time
What a disappointing series of events. Actually, it's just two. But they were consecutive. And plural. So don't make it sound like I made it sound bad with my "exaggeration".
Pasir Laba Medical Center. Apparently, someone switch my batch's timing to an earlier slot. They told me I was late when I couldn't get my check-up done today. Even without class today, I wouldn't be caught waiting 2 hours just to strip buck-naked fer some strange captain to see. Stupid medic. Took him long enough to go through my particulars, too. Bloody disorganised pig. Yes. Pig. He looked like one. Not because he was fat. He really looked like a pig. The face and all.
Wanted to find out if I could get my certificate fer my first year diploma. It would've been really funny(actually, no) if I had to be done with the advanced level before collecting both. The exam office helped a little. By 'a little', I meant type and search. APPARENTLY, no record. Wow. I'm so surprised. And if I have to wait again, it was mentioned that it takes 2 months fer the final results to be released before they can process an official certificate, which takes another 2 months. Brilliant. A total of 4 months is all I need to lose my qualification documents. Be sure to check the papers on April of 2008. The chainsaw massacre is coming to Singapore.
PS: 'aight, steady now... Just go do some retail therapy in town after this.

magic 8 ball says stay in
It's raining. Another good day fer more soap operas. I'm back to the addiction. Blame CrunchyRoll. More of this and I'll start comparing characters to family and friends. I'm starting to see similarities between the plots and real life. Too much drama, ugh.
So here are the vids you guys've been longing to see... They're just minor clips, really. If you've got more, please feel free to send them to me to upload.
We've got LTA Lester here.
And who can forget Frankie.
PS: Temporarily taking away the media player due to technical difficulties. And I sorta understand various readers' opinions on music in blogs. I'm one of them. =)

the white one had a nice waist
I have decided to leave Informatics once I get my advanced diploma and head to SIM to pursue my degree in Information Technology. Fer one, the campus there looks so much better, more marble than hollow walls, that's certain, and two, coupla people I know're doing studies there too so I'll probably network my way around and up as I go. No, not like Van Wilder. It costs 15K to retain. The open house really cleared my doubts, now all I need to do is get this module over and done with, plus decided which degree I'm gonna take(it's split into three specialties). Either way, I'll be skipping straight to being a sophomore due to my qualifications. Ah-hah.
The ORD function was more fun that I had expected it to be. Turns out it wasn't some Chinese 10-course dinner at some restaurant but a buffet held at the Chevron's discoteque. At least I knew where my money went; 2 servings of food, one complimentary watch, a free stressball, a token of appreciation and dancing with 2 outta 3 of the hired belly-dancers, whom I think were overpaid. Surprisingly, the event ended rather early, everyone wanted to head to Velvet Dragon. I've somehow lost all mood to go clubbing these days, it's definitely not money-saving instinct. Post-party at the bowling alley with BoonGee, EngChuan and Willard. Damn, should've cut my fingernails.
PS: 145, 187, 137.

PS: 145, 187, 137.

another chicken wing dinner
Hmmm. Must be the rubbish I've been eating. I could joke about almost dying after running for more than a half hour but that would be purely insensitive now, would it, considering how the number of people with this cause of death is probably equivalent to our country's lightning rate...
Not much was done today. Basically, played around with Paint, making images fer the links I've set up. Re-arranged my clothing into levels of formality. And watch some Disney Channel, finally caught the full High School Musical. Now I'm ready fer the sequel. Crunchyroll would've been the plan fer the night if Khai didn't ask me out fer supper(plus I still had my clothes on and my hair waxed). Wore khakis on purpose because they planned on hitting MOS. Can you believe it... Ended up at Greg's instead. Lucky fer me, I brought my DS.
What a monotonous series of events. Hope it'll be much better when I get up. It's the SIM Open House, gotta and gonna drop by fer a look. Probably should switch my campus after getting the advanced diploma. It's a much better environment, obviously. And it's the date of my ORD function too. I would say 'yay' but I don't exactly know what's in store and last time I checked, my military social events were all letdowns.

Some fucking scary shit. It also has come to my attention that every spiritually horrifying flick needs a little girl somewhere to freak the fuck outta you.
No after-effect from the movie, probably 'cos John Cusack's character was quite a tough one, staying sane in all that... Insanity. Surprised about another thing though, I assumed this is the first role after Mace Windu that Samuel L. Jackson never said the F-word in.
PS: Other things that happened today were being awoken in the ungodly hours of the morning to be told that my little bro got through to OCS from SISPEC, brushed the idea of making it to the Army Open House, missing Aaron Kwok live at Plaza Singapura, didn't go to IndoChine's NUDE Bar as planned(although we did stroll from Dhoby Ghaut to Orchard, witnessing sights like gyrating LED rubber balls and Native American musicians busking, I know deep inside that you really don't like walking, Jess) and collected my iPod USB cable from Kev's since I left it there last night. Thank goodness or I would have no music fer the next whole week. I charge it via USB, fer yer info. And I only have mp3s in my iPod, gotta rid the evidence, ya know... Not so stupid pirate here. Arrr~
Is it wrong to have yer P.S. longer than the post's main body?

one stone to another
By now, you should have realised that my posts are becoming a daily routine. That's how much free time I have. And I'd rather spend it reading webcomics than clear my room. I know a scolding will soon follow from the mother if I carry this on...
After-class hours were spent at Tampines with Kev. The place has changed quite a bit. Army's like a metaphorical time capsule. Dinner was Tori Q, this bento crap that was actually quite awesome, can't believe I've never had it. Some fried chicken and squid seasoned with chilli powder along with the mix from other stalls at the basement of the mall. Nothing says a snacky dinner without a 6-pack of Whatever!.
It's back to the old days. Wifi battle on the DSs while we blast audio on iTunes.
PS: The girls in this class should really learn to wear underwear. They're not that hot.

recess
Eeee. I don't like blood tests. I don't like needles. I don't like blood extraction. I don't mind wounds but having it in this form is... Icky. And I felt the whole thing. Antiseptic my ass. Not literally. Well, at least I met Khai and little bro fer lunch at the canteen before heading off to school.
School.
I was lost. During the module overview, my heart was racing faster than the time I knew gonna lose a huge bet. Or it could be the rain.
Distributed Application Development isn't that bad at all. So far. I've been using Microsoft Visual C#, dragging icons here and there and making a layout fer my application, which consists of applications. It's like... Facebook. Boring version. And class looks really, really solemn. Maybe it's the constant radiation. It IS a computer school, after all. I'm the only one out of two local students in this room as well. Not exactly the foreign vibe, though.
Feels like... Nursery. In Malaysia. T_T
Well, guess I'm back in the groove though. Scribbling down notes and doodling little faces of current emotions, manga style.
PS: This place has changed alot after 2 years. New flooring, new canteen, new administration, more niggers. OMG did I just say that??? =P
I'm not xenophobic, or as Greg would prefer to say, racist. It's just a joke. Don't make it sound like it's not funny. I know you laughed.

five short paragraphs
Finally. My last duty is finally over. Guard on weekends sure is a breeze, even if you push fer 8-hour shifts. Nothing special though, except when this rather cute 3rd sergeant walked in this morning. Not bad fer an army girl...
Cleared all my stuff outta camp this morning. Mom picked me up so it wasn't so bad carrying 2 whole bags out the gate. Okay, I'm kidding, it was bad. Fuckin' heavy shit.
Got home around 10 this morning and planned to nap till late afternoon fer a light lunch before running. Got up fer dinner instead. After 5 missed calls and a series of snoozed alarms.
Well, school starts tomorrow, so I can safely say that I'm gonna be excused from this dumb ORD seminar at camp in uniform. Hope I make some nice new foreign friends. I like foreign friends. They're more happening than local friends.
Oh, blood test. Gotta remember to drop by Pasir Laba fer it. Probably catch my bro or Khairul if I'm lucky. And check out the new canteen. Just hope I don't get a lousy medic like some of the other guys did and end up with holes in my arms. -chills-

my hair can now reach my eyes
Pool was a damn big mistake. Feels pretty painful getting owned 8 racks to 1. Form was way, way, way off today. -sigh-
Hairspray was good though. One of the better movies that I've seen this year. I loved it.

eat & sleep
Crap, I'm getting fat fast. I think that's the only thing fat people can do quickly...
I'll get down to solving that later. Zzzzz.
PS: More songs. Gonna do a coupla playlists up so I can switch it between moods.

small step
Finally, got a media player up and running. With much more time on my hands these days, I decided to have fun updating all my online profiles and camwhore away as well.
I know it's just one song. But I like it. Probably'll get to touching up this default design soon, anyway.

work work
Terribly tired. Not tired enough to get me hooked on coffee but tired nonetheless.
Spent the last 48 hours submitting suggestions for the company over the intranet. The duration and numbers just don't match, that's because it's an antagonisingly long and inconvenient progress per name. Not to forget leave. Omg, administration lapse is sure gonna happen... But I'll be gone by then. The arrows will blot out the sun but my shade will block off all arrows. This is karma, actually. All thanks to my best friend, Mr. Procrastination. My conscience is pushing me to repent before this phase of my life is over. Besides, I think I should do something productive for one of the nicest bosses around, my OC. (Of course I'm just being humble, pfft)
Besides, I hear the echoes of beer bottles clanging in the near future, i.e. this weekend. The Man's on off too so we be chillin' over at IndoChine's NUDE Bar. Honestly, my first time there was on Sunday with YiQiang, Serene and Arthur(thanks fer the lift, man).
PS: Betty, I was so looking forward to seeing you online tonight. It seems, however, that you aren't, must be school. You're probably reading this anyway so I might as well announce the sort of bad news. Next time you return to Singapore, report to Jurong Camp to dekit all you've got. And catch up with us. =) Fer now, I guess it's MSN or Friendster... =P
Oh, I bought an $18 33-inch tall wooden stand-up dummy from Ikea earlier on after dinner(salmon, meatballs and chicken wings, duh...), reason mainly being I'm quite rusty at drawing the human anatomy, it's kinda like a visual reference. My mom found it a little freaky though. I should name it. Haha. Gimme ideas, people.
I should find time to visit a Nokia service centre. I'm one of the lucky people in the world using the BL-5C phone batteries. Apparently, it's a faulty batch. Wow, been with me fer about a year already and all this time I could have suffered from sudden electrocution or a minor explosion in my face.

help me
Fortunately, didn't go out to Zouk last night. Would've died from the lack of energy. Walking down town with EngChye with beers almost killed me already.
Thanks, Eugene, for showing us that picture with Fiona. But I doubted it'd spur us to join you. We were seriously friggin' zombies last night.

How lethargic. By the time you read this, I'm probably drooling all over my pillow case. Friday morning didn't exactly spur off sweetly. Almost got bitten in the thigh by two stray dogs at Jurong Camp during breakfast, what a close shave. Maybe it's that hint of cocker spaniel and golden retriever scent on me. Or they could just be wild canines. Still, they were just animals, chase the chasers, thus the chasee will be free.
Did some crap errand consisting of rechargeable batteries to save some guy's duty ratio. Wonder why I do such things...
Thanks to YiQiang, I managed to pack my stuff into 2 whole bags in 10 minutes, with Wilson's stuff inclusive. Was hella mad to carry them out of Maju Camp. Thank goodness Mom and Dad were around the area. Cooled off in the car before we headed fer lunch at Binjai Park, t'was a Perenakan restaurant by the name of Ivin. If I wasn't so sleepy then, I'd probably pay attention to the quality a little more but I could still tell that that was one awesome meal. And apparently, the website is not available so I cannot link you.
It took a little longer than expected, so I napped in the car on the way home before checking time slots fer 881, the new local movie. Ended up being the one late. =/ Oh well.
Main event of the night was obviously the fireworks. Some of you have heard my simpleton's theory on these explosives. Once again, I'd first like to declare that I'm not emo. Just a very introverted guy with problems. It's a very pretty but expensive art. I know I'm not an otaku but I'll have to compare to Deidara from Akatsuki on the value of fleeting beauty. A big bang with a sweet looking boom and then everything subsides. All in a matter of seconds. People all over come to watch fireworks just to enjoy themselves, forget about stuff. Like how others prefer to drown in alcohol. It's the same thing, different approaches is all. I prefer gunpowder because it makes me forget bad stuff and remember good stuff. I think you've all noticed a bit of contradictory in my thesis but it's okay. I don't mind blowing up good things if all the bad things go along with it. That way, I can just start off at neutral and work my way up. =)
PS: Wow that's some strong Hoegaarden. O_O

thanks fer the glass
Was doing whatever I had to do before ORDing. Turns out I owe quite a bit of administrative work to quite a bit of people. Feels similar to clearing debts. Like that's not a bad enough headache. Got called up to be on guard duty tomorrow. Hey, at least I'm gonna be the guard commander.
Just realised that I've been having way too much fun at the start of the year. Maybe that's why it's starting to feel like crap as it ends. I spoil myself too much.
PS: To the curious ones, I'm not done yet. With work, that is... =(

'tarded
Don't you just hate it when you genuinely have yer phone on silent mode and it rings but you're busy to notice because you're doing something else and all that ever goes into the caller's mind is the thought of you avoiding him/her?
Ugh. Fucked up.
PS: So sue me fer bitchin'.

Got some proper sleep. I think I look much fresher now. Been trying so hard to go nocturnal that it's been taking a toll on my appearance and attitude. Guess a few more days of this and I'll be good to go. Hopefully. Still post-brooding... -______-
PS: I'm sorry fer brushing off anyone around me fer the past few days.

suxxors =P
Another twin Double O visit, last night and tonight.
I'm starting to feel like clubbing fer me is like remedy fer loneliness but it turns out the result amplifies upon this execution.
Day one was pretty bad due to the fact that I got turned down quite a few times... *sniff* Officially self-conscious now. I'm so not pick-up material. -_-
Day two almost got me into a fight. Apparently, thanks to Mr. Low Eng Chye, our little dance group pulled me into a confrontation with someone who thought I was hitting on "his girl". Thank goodness he didn't tear my shirt. Hahaha.
PS: Fer your information, dear non-clubbers, Double O is like heaven for trigger-happy handcuffing cops.
